What am I doing?
Dear future me,
I hope this meets you well. Things are pretty good over here, work is going well, stress levels are just about under control, sometimes it spikes but nothing I can't handle. My walk with God is also progressing, probably not at your level but I'm getting there. I hope you are better at football because fam, I have only recently started balling properly.
I anticipate and expect by now you are in a much better financial situation than I am now. I am working tirelessly here in the present to ensure you don't have to if you don't want to. I hope I finally figured out how to properly monitor and quantify my cash flow, seems like my metrics are not giving me an accurate read but I'm working on it.
Speaking of work, I am well appreciated for the quantity of work I am able to get through but the next step is improving the quality of work and efficiency while maintaining the quantity and same productivity. I'm sure you have gotten a good grasp of that too. Oh by the way, what is life like on the other end of this first project? I'm putting everything I've got into it and it seems to be paying off. I have been working unbelievable number of hours at work so one day, those hours will work for me.
I am writing a book as you know; my only hope is that it was funny and enlightening to somebody. I have no clue what the blueprint for writing one is but I'm finding out it isn't as easy as it looks. I am enjoying this pet project though, it has the just the right amount of omg, are you actually doing this and what if nobody even cares to read it? I am at a point where it is enough for me that I conveyed my thoughts as accurately as I could that I may read back later in the future and be proud of the effort. I sincerely hope it went on to inspire you to write more books and not stop at this first one. PS, I am just about finishing chapter 1.
You also know that I am currently attempting to pick up new software languages, please tell me I kept at it. It would make no sense to have had these many sleep deprived nights to have given up along the way. I get the feeling that even if I were to have all the money in the world I would still find time to write a few lines of code just for the fun of it. Did our little app with Nate and the guys work out? Actually, don't answer that.
Canada is still giving me headache to become ordinary PR, can you imagine? After almost 7 years in the country? Stephen Harper is in line for a shock the day I meet him. Nonetheless, he is appreciated for the work he and his administration did; turn up for that extra TFSA contribution room.
Last thing, you know those business ideas that I've been working on, I know you gat this by now. I am still learning the basics now so you can use them.
Grace and Love.
P.P.S. I know you would respond back saying... if you like don't continue to face your books, be there writing cool blog posts.
