September 2020: Goodbye Summer
Goodbye Summer!
Thankful for a wonderful set of months. I have not strung a good set of months back to back to back like this quite a while. I know I owe some of this in part to the pandemic as well. What a way to have life force a reset.
$117K PROJECT
August was a really great month for me. I had the opportunity to regain my focus on this bill after enjoying myself a bit. I recognize this life is one and celebrate little victories as I get them.
Nov. 16 2018 - $117,283.53
Aug. 16 2020 - $38,129.20
Discovered mowing the lawn.
So I had to try out using a lawn mower since my yard had become overgrown. First attempt was a success in my opinion.
Culinary vibes
Happy to have explored new ways to eat the same foods and taken the opportunity to treat myself this month. Different methods, different recipes, same happiness.
I’m happy and my insides are happy too.
High School Catch up from 2009
I had a few friends for over a decade stop by. From Sagamu and Konigbagbe village to the world please. Who would have thought.
My Brother did a thing
If you’re next, hold microphone like this.
Goodbye to a wonderful companion
A girl has no name has moved to a new home. That brings a great year together to a close. I had a wonderful time and I have room for another in the future. I recouped most of what I shelled out for her so it all worked out.
RUNNING
I tried moving my running up a gear. Apparently, that was too soon. As a result, I have to go back to not running at all. I’ll have to find another alternative way to exercise.
W for Wonderful.
COVID Travel
It turns out travelling in the middle of a pandemic is quite painless. All I needed was my mask and there were minimal people I had to interact with. I had an entire lounge to myself.
Mercedes Benz
So I’ve been in the process of finding my next daily driver. The Tesla last month set the bar really high and really is my ideal. This car though made an excellent case for itself too. It has Apple CarPlay, a great look and a familiar layout. I especially like that the style fits me. I'd call the style “Loud but not noisy”
Note: The gear shift is the exact same one in a Tesla. I imagine Mercedes sells that part to Tesla.
Till Next Month,
There is no reward for suffering.
