We are on the business end of the MBA program now. The core part of the program where we learned fundamental concepts for business ended today with a long case analysis and go-to market strategy paper for our Marketing class. There are some papers left to complete for some classes but those will be done by the end of the week.
We also get a week off next week! YAY!
Going forward, there will be more trips and shuttling between Kingston and Toronto. I'm looking forward to the networking events and the opportunity to learn from people in industry. I'm also looking forward to actually networking with classmates as well. The elective part of the program will connect more like-minded people and it will be interesting to work in different teams across each course.
Highlights since last time:
Exams went okay.
Team 313 was actually an awesome unit
We ate for a good cause
We put together QMBA FC
I went to the Payments Canada Conference
Coming to this conference was very impactful for me and my classmates. The future of payments in Canada is one to watch out for and I'm looking forward to. The caliber of professionals, the depth of the experience and the wealth of knowledge of everyone there was really something to behold.
