What a month it has been. What a year really.
As October comes to a close, it’s another time to reflect.
#ENDSARS
I am in awe of the protests in Nigeria. It was a well organized, coordinated and communicated movement. It was almost entirely dependent on the millennial demographic as well which makes all the more impressive to me. It turned violent unfortunately and I remain appalled by that response from the government. Nevertheless, there is hope for a turn in the fortunes of Nigeria in the future when this age group take leadership of the country from the disappointment that are Baby Boomers.
$117K PROJECT
The thing I like about money and numbers, they are nebulous. Whatever feelings projected onto it is completely a personal problem. It’s one of the things that is objective all the way to the last decimal point.
I can see the end of this journey in sight and it feels trippy. Trippy in that, I feel like I might just miss the sense of restriction I’m placing myself under to finish this thing.
I figure I have another 13-16 months to go depending on life events.
3 years to knock out $117k, seems decent tbh. Debt free before 30 we move.
Nov. 16 2018 - $117,283.53
Sept. 16 2020 - $34,780.67
Another “blog“
So I went and joined podcaster gang. I’d been trying it out a while to see if I could get in the habit of producing and recording. 10 weeks in and I’m still going so I guess it’s a thing. I’m a podcaster.
The purpose of this one really is to share on a topic I’m an expert on, my opinion. So random thoughts that percolate through my brain each week wherever podcasts are available.

Football is back
I don’t know what is inside sport but I can’t not watch it. I subscribed to a streaming service that has all the games and I can watch 4 at a time. The best part, its not only limited to american football. It also applies to football, the real one, and a bunch of other sports.
Premier League, UEFA Champions league, UEFA Europa League, Italian Serie A & MLS are all available in one go.
DAZN deserves the $150/year and they can have it.
My referal code is embedded and it gives you a free month. FYI I don’t get anything if you use it just saying, I recommend.
EAT well, MIND your business
All I have to say about this enjoyment thing…
in the eternal words of Debo, Mr Macaroni…
Celebrate your friends
COVID puts a lot into perspective doesn’t it.
Don’t forget to get outside as much as you can.
Take the worst selfies possible while at it.
Airsoft
Oh yes, before I wrap up.
Shout out to Fokhus for getting people together to play airsoft.
It’s like paintball but without the paint splatter.
Till next month,
For every gbas, there is a gbos that follows.
