Time for enjoyment
Now that I’ve got my emergency fund in place, I’d like to splurge for once. I’ve been on a journey to get out of debt for years. I was pursuing a career I love as well and I’ve found it. So, I’d like to slowdown and enjoy some of that work I’ve put in.
My next financial goal is to put together an enjoyment war chest to just spend the money.
I’m thinking $10,000 should be more than enough. I’ll come back to investing in other posts shortly.
I’ve got my second vaccine dose.
Time to go outside!
Fit fam
Because I like waka
Let’s see outside Toronto small; BURLINGTON
I believe this is what they call “views”
Other things that catch my eye when I go for walks
I can afford a car again
No I didn’t buy it, but I wanted to see what I’d like and if it would fit my lifestyle.
Parking is always a problem downtown.
Eating good
Come and see ice cream
Let me tell you about some drawbacks
I live in a condo downtown that is new. I’m the first to live in my unit. I have a great view while I work. Let me tell you some of my issues so fart.
Fire alarms, all. the. time.
It’s an exaggeration of course. I’ve been here only 2 months and I’m stunned by how frequent this is already.
Rails for hanging clothes broke. Never experienced such before.
Oh, my washer wouldn’t work for the first month too. I had to wash clothes at a friend’s.
Also, for whatever reason, the elevators randomly stop working. At least they’re always clean. [Pic at the bottom]
I love my career tbh.
I have zero regrets becoming a product manager. I 100% recommend to anyone interested.
So back to my current experience.
We think we can redesign radio, so I led a build for “clubhouse” for sports specifically.
Some other ideas around radio we were discussing
I love my friends
The ones with family who still find a way to visit me
The OG friends, a decade and going.
IBM friends too
One pic for the road.
See y’all next time.
Take the vaccine.
